Three Sierra Leoneans Designated for FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has once again recognised Sierra Leonean football officials with key appointments in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers.

The first appointee, Prince Kai Saquee, Vice President II of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), will serve as the Match Commissioner for the fixture between Cape Verde and Cameroon on September 9th, 2025.

Secondly, Sanusie Rashid will serve as referee assessor during the Algeria vs Botswana encounter on Match Day 7 in Algiers.

•Meanwhile, Mohamed Bowen Freeman has been appointed as security officer for the high-profile clash between Senegal and Sudan in Dakar.

These appointments further underline the confidence FIFA and CAF continue to place in Sierra Leonean officials at the highest levels of international football.
